Manulife has made two appointment announcements in Travel Insurance.

The company has announced Jennifer Waver's promotion to AVP, Head of Distribution for Travel Insurance, effective 01SEP.

Waver, who has over 25 years of travel insurance experience, will helm efforts to fortify existing client relations and lead the growth of Manulife's travel insurance sales distribution across all channels. These include retail travel, broker sales, and the Affinity Sponsored Markets channels. Having previously spearheaded the National Sales Team in the retail travel sector, Waver's contributions have garnered multiple industry accolades for Manulife.

In tandem with Waver's promotion, Shelley Kopys has been named Director of Travel Insurance Distribution and will lead the Client Management team for retail travel agency insurance at Manulife.

With a similar 25-year tenure in the industry, Kopys will oversee Client Management for retail travel agency insurance. While taking on broader responsibilities, she will continue engaging with specific accounts in a senior capacity.
