Sandos Hotels & Resorts announced the appointment of Judy Makara as the new Business Development Manager for Quebec and Atlantic Canada, covering as well the Ottawa area and surrounding regions.

Makara brings 40 years of extensive experience in Canada's travel industry, most recently as the Senior Business Development Manager at Barceló Hotel Group for 13 years, where she played a key role in transforming Barcelo Hotel Group’s business and increasing sales in FIT and group business in Canada. With over 21 years at the tour operator level, her experience also includes key roles at Vacances Canada 3000, Vacances Nolitour (Transat), Vacances Sunwing, and as BDM for Costa Cruise Lines.
