New MSC Canada BDM for Western & Central Canada: Facinet Yansane

Facinet Yansane, Business Development Manager (BDM) for Western and Central Canada, MSC.

MSC Cruises Canada has announced the appointment of Facinet Yansane as Business Development Manager (BDM) for Western and Central Canada, based in Vancouver (B.C.).

“Facinet’s appointment is another example of our commitment to our people and their professional growth within our organization," said Ian Patterson, country manager of MSC Cruises Canada. "Leveraging his extensive international sales expertise, Facinet will be able to strengthen the ties with our partners and identify new strategic opportunities, driving continued growth from Manitoba to British Columbia.”

Originally from Conakry, Guinea, Facinet joined MSC Cruises Canada in January 2023 as a bilingual cruise consultant.

With a background in public law at Kofi Annan in Guinea and management of enterprises in Kyiv, along with over five years of sales and training experience, MCS said, "Facinet emerged as the ideal candidate for this role.

"His multifaceted background and profound understanding of MSC Cruises ensure that regional travel partners will receive tailored solutions and collaborative support."

In his new role, Facinet will be relocated to Vancouver, "allowing him to enhance the commercial connections across Western and Central Canada."
