TRAVELSAVERS has added two new agency affiliates, which it says, in addition to increasing its presence in Canada, "secures a strong foothold in Quebec" for the U.S.-based company.

The Atrium Group, comprised of Vasco Travel and Gama Travel, representing 100 travel agencies in Quebec, Ontario and New Brunswick, and Enjoy Travel with 10 agency branch offices located throughout Ontario, have both joined TRAVELSAVERS.

“We’re thrilled to continue to grow our footprint in Canada with these successful companies,” said Kathryn Mazza-Burney, Chief Sales Officer. “With more than $250 million in additional combined agency revenue, our preferred partners will see a sizeable increase in their business as well.”

“These valuable new partnerships, which the team has been working on since earlier this year, further demonstrate our commitment and investment in the Canadian market, particularly in Quebec, as this more than doubles our presence there,” said Jane Clementino, newly appointed Senior Vice President, and General Manager Canada TRAVELSAVERS.

“This is a bright start of many good things to come in Canada for both our affiliates and our preferred partners.”

“This is an exciting moment for the Atrium Group and will strengthen both companies and give us access to more competitive deals and enhanced technology,” said Sylvain Lastere, President of the Atrium Group. “We are bringing together two highly complementary businesses to accelerate our growth and create new opportunities for our members.”

"I am excited to be part of the TRAVELSAVERS network,” said Teresa Payne, Owner of Enjoy Travel. “We did a comprehensive review of the market and I feel TRAVELSAVERS significantly strengthened and expanded their agency tools, support and services during the last two years which will further enhance our agency offerings and ultimately improve our sales in our 10 branches."
