TICO Annual General Meeting to be Held on 29JUN

The Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) has announced that its Annual General Meeting will be held virtually on 29JUN 2021 at 5:00 p.m.

The meeting will cover financial statements from the previous financial year, receiving the annual report, appointing auditors, announcing the successful candidate for the position on the Board of Directors, and more.

Only members in good standing are entitled to participate in and vote at the meeting. Those wishing to participate and vote at the meeting will need to register for the event, with registration opening today, 31MAY 2021. To register, send an email with your name and registration number to ticoagm@tico.ca by 25JUN 2021 at 4:30 p.m. Materials and instructions regarding how to participate will be sent out to those registered in advance of the meeting.

Members of the public are also invited to attend. For those wishing to watch the event, the link for the meeting will be posted on TICO’s website by 22JUN 2021.

Members who will not be attending the meeting are invited to submit written requests for proxies. The Agenda, Minutes from the AGM on 17SEP 2020, and the 2021 Annual Report and Business Plan containing the audited financial statements as at and for the fiscal period ended 31MAR 2021 will be made available on TICO’s website prior to the meeting.

TICO also mentions that there may be some changes to usual meeting arrangements due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the virtual nature of the event. Guests interested in participating are asked to watch for further updates posted on its site.
