The Globus Family of Brands, consisting of Globus, Cosmos, Avalon Waterways and Monograms, has launched its new "Now is Our Time" marketing campaign in an effort to inspire Canadians to return to travel.

“Now is our time to come back to the world,” said Stéphanie Bishop, managing director of the Globus family of brands. “For more than 90 years, the Globus family of brands has shared its great travel love affair with Canadians driven by wanderlust. For us, and them, this recent ‘detour’ has been difficult but it’s also reminded us how much we miss the world. Now, it’s time to make plans to wrap our arms around wonderment, curiosity and intrigue once again in the places we’ve missed: Global destinations that have also missed us.”

The campaign, which was unveiled on 04OCT, places a spotlight on international travel, inviting Canadians to “run away, fly away and pack yourself a holiday” with a “Now is Our Time” message.

“Over the last year, we have unveiled more ways to explore, discover and enjoy the world’s most magnificent destinations than ever before,” said Bishop. “We introduced ‘Choice Touring by Globus’ in Europe and North America, expanded our series of ‘Undiscovered’ tours across the globe and even introduced new Storyteller sailings with celebrity hosts. We’re ready to help Canadian travellers leave normal behind, get back to amazing and find our happy place back in the world.”

Globus notes that Globus, Cosmos, Monograms and Avalon Waterways combined provide more than 500 vacation itineraries, on six continents in 70 countries, ranging from guided tours and packaged vacations to river and small-ship cruising getaways.
