After more than one year of virtual meetings, Transat has invited agents to take part in outdoor, in-person events in Toronto, Hamilton, and London. The Toronto event was held on Monday, 04OCT, outside the operator’s Etobicoke offices.

"It's time to put the fun back in this travel industry and reconnect with agents," Nicole Bursey, Commercial Director, Transat Tours said at the event.

At the Toronto event, travel agents enjoyed lunch from a food truck, there was a DJ and information on Transat's upcoming Virtual Training Academy on 26OCT. Transat also provided QR codes for agents to share with their clients, linking to details on its offerings, including this season’s Sun Brochure.

According to Nicole5, the event was intended to show agents its "gratitude for all the hard work they've done over the last 18 plus months."

"We're really excited to get things going to the way they used to be!”

To attend the event, confirmed participants will be required to present their vaccination proof indicating they are double vaccinated. Mask wearing is enforced. To register, Transat invites travel agents to fill out this form.
