ACTA Announces 2022 In-Person Events

ConferenceThe Association of Canadian Travel Agencies (ACTA) has announced it is returning to in-person events in 2022, with 1-day conferences in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal.

The conferences take place in SEP on the following dates:

  • Toronto - 14SEP
  • Vancouver - 21SEP
  • Montreal - 28SEP

"We have really missed the many advantages of meeting face to face during the pandemic and while our virtual events have been very well attended and successful, we really look forward to bringing the industry together again in person," said Wendy Paradis, President, ACTA.

Some scheduled highlights include:

  • (Re)Connecting with peers and all sectors of the Canadian travel industry
  • Learning from leaders on topics that may be of interest for travel advisors
  • Discovering new opportunities for business
  • Brushing up on global travel industry trends and insights
  • Interacting with the over 40 suppliers on the trade show floor and during the networking reception
  • Winning prizes

With the support of event sponsors, the conference conference is complimentary for ACTA members to attend and designed to benefit all of members including front line travel agents, independent contractors, senior leaders, consortia groups and host agencies. The primary sponsors for the event are Air Canada and Manulife.

ACTA also highlights its ACTA Ontario Golf Tournament which returns in 2022 at the Royal Ontario Golf Club in Milton, Ontario on 14JUL. Proceeds from the ACTA Golf Tournament help support the Tourism Cares Charity and the ACTA Advocacy Fund.
