Stephen Smith, Senior VP Leisure Marketing, North America for Direct Travel as well as its Canadian leisure division Vision Travel - has announced that five of the company’s travel advisors have been named to the worldwide list of Condé Nast Travel Specialists.

The list, which features around 400 travel advisors and niche tour operators around the world, recognizes top advisors for their experience, expertise, resourcefulness and customer care. “They’ll pull off the impossible and spare you the logistics,” Condé Nast states.

Direct/Vision advisors named to the 2022 list include Ariane Henry of White Rock, B.C. in her second year in the group. A 12 year veteran of the industry, Henry says, “I have had many of my clients for years and treat them like family. This recognition is very humbling - I’m passionate about travel and like to think it shows.” Henry is also quoted in the APR 2022 edition of the Condé Nast Traveler magazine, counselling readers on the value of dealing with a travel advisor.

Also on the list for the second time is Jesse Taylor of Direct Travel affiliate Taylor Elite Travel in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. “This accolade has given us credibility and definitely brought us clients,” he commented.

Other Direct/Vision advisors named to the elite Condé Nast group include Canadians Lisa and Nancy Zupancic and American Jennifer Fried.

“We are incredibly proud of this elite group,” says Smith, “and of our leisure support and marketing teams who really go above and beyond.”
