TICO's 2022 Virtual Annual General Meeting Set for 28JUN

advisor, agent, working, IC, work at home, home office, woman workingThe Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO)'s 2022 Virtual Annual General Meeting will be held online on 28JUN at 5 p.m. EST.

According to TICO, the meeting will cover topics such as:

  • receiving the financial statements for the previous financial year, together with the Auditor’s Report;
  • receiving and considering the Annual Report;
  • appointing the auditors for the Corporation and authorizing the Board of Directors to fix the auditor’s remuneration; and
  • transacting such other business.

TICO notes that the deadline for providing written notice of any motions to be made at the meeting has now passed.

TICO members in good standing are able to participate in and vote at the meeting, and members of the public are invited to attend.

Those wishing to attend the virtual meeting can do so here. Registration to attend will close on 24JUN at 5 p.m. EST.

The Agenda, Minutes from the 2021 Annual General Meeting, the 2022 Business Plan, and the 2022 Annual Report containing the audited financial statements as at and for the fiscal period ended 31MAR 2022 will be made available on the platform in advance of the meeting.

TICO encourages members to login to the webcast platform to review the materials and test their video prior to the meeting. Meeting materials will also be made available on TICO’s website. Members who will not be attending the meeting are invited to submit written requests for proxies.
