Thailand's Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) announced on 17JUN that the country will be lifting its "Thailand Pass" registration and USD $10,000 health insurance requirement for international arrivals beginning 01JUL 2022.

From that date, international visitors are only required to show proof of vaccination or proof of a negative RT-PCR or "professional" ATK COVID-19 test result taken within 72 hours before travel to Thailand.

According to the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), all international travellers may be randomly checked upon arrival at the country's international airports and land border checkpoints. If travellers who are not fully vaccinated are unable to show proof of a pre-arrival negative test, they will be required to undergo a professional ATK test at the point of entry.

“The ‘Land of Smiles’ is eager and excited to welcome travelers to experience all the beloved destinations across Thailand just as easily as they used to,” said Santi Sawangcharoen, Director of the TAT New York Office and Acting Director of the TAT Toronto Office.

Bangkok, along with 76 other Thai provinces, have been approved by the CCSA as green zones, allowing businesses to resume new normal businesses and activities nationwide.
