St. Vincent and The Grenadines: Air Canada to Resume Non-Stop Flights; Hotel Updates

St. Vincent and The Grenadines Tourism Authority (SVGTA) has provided a trade update, including the announcement that Air Canada will resume non-stop flights YYZ - SVD this fall.

Starting 30OCT, flights will operate three times a week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. From 11DEC, flights will increase to four times a week, with the addition of Tuesdays until the end of the winter season.

“We are very excited and looking forward to welcoming our Canadian friends this winter with the commencement of Air Canada’s weekly non-stop flights,” said Glenn Beache, CEO for the SVGTA.

In a hotel update, SVGTA revealed that during the summer, two hotels in the Grenadine Islands will temporarily close.

Bequia Beach Hotel on Friendship Beach, the largest Grenadine Island in the destination, will be closed from 05JUN and will reopen on 13OCT. Petit St. Vincent Resort, located in the southern Grenadines, will also close its 22-room private island retreat from June 30th. The resort is set to reopen on 01NOV.
