Israel’s Ministry of Tourism has launched its latest advertising campaign, ‘Anywhere’, targeting winter tourism for the destination.

The consumer-facing campaign is a digital-only initiative which aims to encourage consumers to spend their winter holidays in Israel as tourists from around Canada, as well as the world, who plan their next destination for their winter holidays.

"The new campaign we are launching is no longer a film with a uniform appearance. It speaks the language of the tourist and illustrates the power of the tourist experience in Israel, while generating a sense of FOMO in the viewer," says Minister of Tourism, Haim Katz.

The campaign focuses on spontaneous travel, and highlights Jerusalem and Tel Aviv in particular:

Gal Hana, Consul for Tourism – Director for Canada commented, “timing is everything as we continue to see an increased interest in long-haul overseas travel by Canadian. We continue to encourage Canadians from coast to coast whether as first timers, or as return visitors, all seeking to enjoy the places and hands on experiences that are uniquely Israeli”.

The campaign has launched across Canada, and in Europe, in the USA through targeted advertisements on YouTube and smart TVs, and will last for about two months. The Ministry is expecting to reach about 70 million viewers worldwide and in Canada, largest cities Toronto, Montreal and other large metropolitan cities in Western Canada are key areas that have been targeted.
