The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) invites travel advisors across the country to attend Jamaica Travel Expo & Destination Weddings Showcase events in Calgary on 07NOV, Montréal on 09NOV, and Toronto on 10NOV. Jamaica's multi-market Canada Trade Week events will allow advisors to meet with suppliers and destination wedding vendors to learn about Jamaica's latest product updates and resort developments. According to the tourism board, each regional event will feature product training sessions from 3 to 5 p.m. and a Destination Showcase from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. with Caribbean-inspired cuisine, games, photo opportunities and prize giveaways. "The Jamaica Travel Expo and Destination Weddings Showcase will be the JTB's first major in-person show since 2019, and we are anticipating more than 450 agents to join us for these exciting trade week events across the country," notes Angella Bennett, Regional Director, Canada, JTB. "We can't wait to bring the vibrant spirit of Jamaica to Calgary, Montréal and Toronto this fall. Each regional event will give retail agents a chance to learn from the country's top suppliers, hear the latest destination developments, and enjoy some world-class island fun and prizes." The free expo will display top Jamaican accommodations and bridal experts, featuring a live band, fashion shows, presentations, regular vacation draws, and a CAD $5,000 grand prize from redtag.ca. |
