The river cruise market has a steady backlog of new ships to introduce to clients eager to return to waterways this year. While most of the nearly two dozen vessels set to debut are carried over from 2020 following pandemic-related delays and suspensions, a few were meant to launch in 2021. From AmaWaterways’ three ships -- AmaDahlia, AmaLucia and AmaSiena -- to Avalon’s View, here are 22 new riverboats with plans to launch this year.
