Air France-KLM and Etihad Airways celebrate their 11-year collaboration by launching a frequent flyer partnership, expanding their existing alliance, reports Business Travel News.
The initial memorandum of understanding, signed in SEP 2023, aimed at a broader codeshare and interline agreement, now encompasses over 60 routes.
This latest development allows Flying Blue and Etihad Guest loyalty program members to earn and redeem miles across Air France, KLM, and Etihad flights. While the reciprocal benefits for elite members are pending, the airlines express enthusiasm for enhancing loyalty opportunities and route networks, ultimately benefiting a global customer base.
