Air New Zealand Reveals Price of New Economy Class Sleep Pods

Air New Zealand has released further information about Skynest, a concept set to launch in SEPT 2024 that will offer beds on board for economy-class passengers, CNN Travel reports.

The sleep pods, which will be located between the economy and premium economy cabins in a bunk bed configuration, will be available on select long-haul routes. Passengers will be able to pre-book a slot in the pod for between US$254-$380 for a four-hour block, in addition to the cost of their ticket.

Several of the airline’s Boeing 787 planes are being refurbished with the new sleeping pods.
