Air Transat’s UK office recently unveiled a survey focusing on Britons' perceptions of Canada, reports Travel Mole.

Misconceptions revealed include; 22% think Toronto is Canada's capital (it isn’t?) and didn’t know Jim Carrey is Canadian. Air Transat highlighted the findings' potential to improve engagement with British travellers. Canada's natural beauty stood out, with 62% seeing it as its prime feature. While many recognized Niagara Falls, lesser-known sites like Banff National Park remained undiscovered. 48% expressed interest in visiting Canada, with 26% ranking it as a top travel destination.
