Airlines to Launch New Legal Action Against AMS Flight Cuts

Several major airlines, including KLM Group, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, and JetBlue, along with industry associations IATA and Airlines for America, are initiating fresh legal proceedings against the Dutch government, reports Business News Travel. 

As Open Jaw reported, the government received approval to reduce flights from half a million take-offs and landings to 460,000 in NOV 2023 — and all the way down to 440,000 next year — after the Amsterdam Court of Appeal overturned a previous ruling.

The airlines claim that the ruling conflicts with national and international regulations. The new legal action is also being supported by ERA and Airlines for Europe (A4E)
