American Cruise Lines, American Queen Steamboat Company First to Resume U.S. Sailings

American Cruise Lines and American Queen Steamboat Company have quietly resumed cruising on 13MAR and 15MAR, respectively, marking the first 2021 sailings back on the water and among the few that have cruised at all in North America since the global pandemic shut down cruising last MAR. Both lines have ships small enough to bypass the current CDC orders against sailings and are American flagged. They both also require pax to take a COVID-19 test before boarding. AQSC has implemented a vaccine requirement for all passengers, crew and partners, taking effect on all sailings beginning 01JUL.
