And There Goes Cruising From Texas: Governor Bans Vaccine Mandates, Just Like FL

Last week, Texas Governor Greg Abbott barred all COVID-19 vaccine mandates in the state by any entity, including private employers. The ban includes prohibiting companies to require vaccinations of their customers. That’s a blow to the cruising industry in one of the top 3 cruise states in the country. The order states "no entity in Texas" can compel proof of vaccination by any individual, including employees or customers. Florida previously put forth a similar ban on vaccine mandates, but lost an injunction against Norwegian Cruise Line, although the case is still before the courts.
