Australia Extends International Travel Ban Until JUN

Australia has extended its emergency travel ban by three months, from 17MAR to 17JUN, 2021, amid fears that the rest of the world “continues to pose an unacceptable public health risk” to our borders. This means international arrivals must continue with pre-departure testing and wearing masks on flights. Cruise ships still won’t be allowed in Australia, although the government has expressed interest in “developing a framework” for cruise ship industries to resume in Australia sometime in the future. The emergency measures were first brought in on 17MAR, 2020.
