Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts Announces B&B Options in Samaná

Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts is shifting two of its all-inclusive properties in Samaná, Dominican Republic, to bed and breakfast and half-board models, reports Travel Agent Central.

The Bahia Principe Grand Cayacoa will undergo this change in NOV, followed by Bahia Principe Grand Samaná in DEC. This decision comes as more travellers seek authentic experiences outside the property. A study by American Express highlights this trend, showing 85% of travellers prefer destinations offering a genuine local experience. Helen Montijano, the commercial director USA & Canada for the brand, emphasized adapting to meet 21st-century travellers' desires for unique travel experiences and meaningful engagement with local communities.
