The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has added popular cruise destination to its level 4 travel advisory list, up from level 3 where it remained for several months. Now, the CDC advises avoiding all travel to Barbados, even saying that “fully vaccinated travellers may be at risk for getting and spreading COVID-19 variants.” Still, cruise lines are planning calls to the island, with P&O Cruises restarting operations in the Caribbean based out of Bridgetown, Barbados, with Britannia.
