Booking the 2024 Paris Olympics? What You Need to Know.

Paris is set to hold the 33rd Olympiad in JUL and AUG 2024. The largest sporting event in the world will bring over 10 thousand athletes and millions of spectators to the city for two weeks. There are over 750 events at the games.

Tickets have gone on sale, and the first round is already complete. Those looking to attend the games can enter a draw for tickets before 20APR, and winners will be notified 09MAY. Registered accounts can buy a maximum 30 tickets to the events.

Some Paris hotels will not open booking during the games until JUL, meaning prospective attendees can still get rooms at this point. However some accommodations, including short-term rentals, have already opened for booking during the games.

Airlines are likely to begin offering flights to and from the games later this summer; about a year before the games. Air fares are expected to increase significantly especially if there is high demand for the games. The NYTimes is suggesting travellers look into the option of booking all-inclusive packages.
