Canadian Airlines are Slowly Returning to Puerto Vallarta

Canadian airlines are slowly returning to Mexico and popular tourist destinations such as Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit. It began on 05JUN, when WestJet flew from YYC to Puerto Vallarta (PVR). Ultra-low-cost carrier (ULCC) Swoop has announced fall flights to sun destinations, including the Caribbean, Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta. Air Canada will also run YVR - PVR beginning 01AUG, and Transat plans to return to the area from YYZ and YUL as of NOV 2021. Canada represents one of the most important foreign markets to Puerto Vallarta, second only to the U.S.
