Cancun Tourism Keeps Surpassing Pre-Pandemic Levels

According to new data from ASUR, which manages CUN, tourism in the region continues to surpass pre-pandemic levels. Cancun reported passenger traffic of 2.04m arrivals in NOV 2021, representing a 9.2 per cent increase over the same period in 2019. That number included international traffic of 1.29m passengers, according to ASUR. Passenger numbers in Cancun are down 14.5 per cent compared to the first 11 months of 2019, and up by 83.6 per cent compared to 2020.
