Christmas in JUL: Is it Time to Shop for Winter Airfare Bargains?

With air travel rebounding to pre-pandemic levels, experts are predicting a busy travel season this winter, reports CNN.

However, there’s good news for those looking for affordable tickets. Airfares have been falling over the past year, increasing the likelihood of finding cheap flights during the winter holidays. For international flights, booking by the second week of SEPT is advised to secure lower prices, while for domestic flights, the best time is likely the last two weeks of SEPT and the first two weeks of OCT.

The so-called “Goldilocks window” for finding the best deals are roughly three to six months out for domestic flights and four to 10 months out for international ones.
