Cruise Ship Pandemic Layups a Major Cause of Biofouling: NZ Biosecurity

Cruise ships taking long layups during the pandemic are a major cause for the biofouling affecting some vessels, Biosecurity New Zealand told Seatrade Cruise News. Biofoul is the accumulation of microorganisms, plants, algae, or even small animals on a ship’s hull.
