Cruise Ships are Critical for Jamaica’s Tourism Recovery: Jamaica's Minister of Tourism

Edmund Bartlett, Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism, spoke with BNN Bloomberg about the outlook of the tourism sector and how the country plans to reopen safely as travel begins to recover. Minister Bartlett also discusses the need for a worldwide vaccination tool and the need for vaccine equity worldwide. He also mentions his excitement for the return of cruise ships, with 110 calls from Carnival over the next 5 months, and an opportunity for economic growth through the industry’s return.
