Crystal Symphony Sets Sail on Inaugural Voyage from Athens, Greece

Crystal Symphony, acquired along with the Crystal brand and sister ocean ship Crystal Serenity by Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group, has embarked on its inaugural voyage after an extensive refurbishment, reports Cruise&Ferry. Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group relaunched both Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity within a year.

Crystal Symphony departed from Athens, Greece, on its inaugural voyage following the acquisition and subsequent drydock.

The refurbishment includes larger suites, spacious public areas, a revamped fitness center, and a new spa concept called Aurōra. The relaunched ship can host 606 guests and will offer inaugural season itineraries throughout Oceania, including visits to Sydney, Auckland, Papua New Guinea, and Bali.

Crystal also has plans to expand its fleet with four new ships in the next six years.
