Florida Governor Ron DeSantis seems to have had his revenge on Disney execs who opposed his political agenda.
DeSantis has signed into law a new state bill that reverses Disney’s long-standing self-governing status in a special district surrounding the park and resort.
He also details in his new book “The Courage to be Free: Florida’s Blueprint for America’s Revival” how he warned former Disney CEO Bob Chapek to stay out of the debate about DeSantis’ new laws restricting teaching about gender identity in state schools. Chapek spoke out anyway.
