Following the announcement that Disney Dream will resume U.S. sailings on 09AUG from Port Canaveral, Disney Cruise Line has updated its health and safety protocols. While vaccination is encouraged, it is not required. Those who have been fully vaccinated at least 14 days before sailing with proof will be exempted from pre-cruise and embarkation day COVID-19 testing. Those who are unvaccinated will be required to submit PCR test results from between 5 days and 24 hours prior to the sail date. Cruises departing from Florida through 31DEC 2021 will require a valid travel insurance policy for all guests 12 and older. Face masks will be required for all passengers 2 and older regardless of vaccination status when indoors, except when eating, drinking, or in their stateroom. Physical distancing and additional health measures still apply. Disney Dream’s three and four-night itineraries will initially only call at Castaway Cay, and the private island has its own set of requirements.
