Disney Just Raised Prices on a List of Things—by More Than Twice the Inflation Rate

Amidst financial challenges, Disney Parks has significantly increased prices for various offerings at its U.S. resorts, reports Frommers.

The hikes, more than double the current inflation rate of 3.67%, see ticket prices increasing by 8.9%. Now, visiting Disneyland Resort for a day can cost an individual up to USD $294, excluding food and additional attractions.

This is a stark contrast from less than a decade ago when entry prices were just USD $99 a day. Apart from ticket prices, other amenities such as parking, the Genie+ attractions reservation system, and snacks like the Dole Whip have witnessed price surges. This, coupled with no significant new additions to the parks and a history of cancelled projects, concerns Disney enthusiasts. However, despite the rising costs and potential decline in quality, Disney's loyal fan base continues to flock to the parks.
