Disney Requires Cruise Passengers To Bahamas To Get Vaccinated Against COVID-19

Disney Cruise Line has announced that all eligible passengers on cruises to the Bahamas must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 due to the island nation’s new regulations requiring all arrivals to be fully vaccinated. Passengers must present proof of vaccination to board. This follows similar requirements from cruise lines such as Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and MSC Cruises, among others. Disney Cruise Line’s new requirements come as the CDC has placed The Bahamas on its updated list of the highest risk countries. It also follows an announcement from Walt Disney World in Florida that it had reached an agreement with the union representing most of its theme park workers, in which all workers will be required to be vaccinated as of 22OCT.
