Double-Digit Growths Across the Caribbean in Last Quarter

According to the Caribbean Journal, The U.S. Virgin Islands and the Dominican Republic are spearheading a travel boom in the Caribbean. Following a challenging post-pandemic recovery, the region is experiencing double-digit growth compared to pre-pandemic levels, according to a report by ForwardKeys. 

According to the latest data analysis, the Caribbean region is set to experience significant growth in the fourth quarter of this year, reports Caribbean News Digital.

The Dominican Republic is expected to see a 54% rise in international arrivals in Q4 2023, while the U.S. Virgin Islands are projected to grow by 39%. Curacao and Turks and Caicos will also see significant growth. The report also highlights an increase in longer stays of over 14 nights and a resurgence in group travel, particularly from the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. Canada is leading in premium-cabin travel, showing significant growth in bookings to the Dominican Republic, Cuba, and Jamaica.
