European Vacations are Already Booked Solid for 2023

Online booking platforms, tour operators and hotel companies are all reporting that U.S. travellers are already on the way to Europe in an effort to avoid the busy summer travel season.

CNN reports that while the return of international travel is great news for most, travellers looking to capitalize on lower fares and fewer tourists during the off-season may be out of luck. According to flight tracking platform Hopper, flights to Europe are already up 27 per cent compared to the same time last year, despite it being the off-season. A hotel company CEO told CNN that bookings for his Lisbon, Portugal property are already 115 per cent higher than JAN 2022 bookings.
