Eurostar Group Aims to Double Rail Traffic with New Brand Launch

Eurostar Group launched its new brand on 24JAN following the merger between rail operators Eurostar and Thalys as it hopes to capitalize on increased demand for rail travel in western Europe.

The group's new CEO says the Thalys brand will disappear in favour of the Eurostar name with all of its 51 trains being given a makeover with the new logo. The group reportedly carried 15 million passengers in 2022 compared to 19 million in 2019.

As reported by Business Travel News, the Group aims to double its 2022 numbers, hoping to carry 30 million travellers annually by 2030.
