Maritime airports face increasing uncertainty as WestJet merges Sunwing and Swoop into its main operations, reports Global News.
As Open Jaw reported, on 16JUN, WestJet announced that Sunwing Airlines will merge into its main operations, following its previous announcement to fold Swoop into its business by late OCT.
Since those announcements, the airline has not confirmed if it will continue routes from Atlantic Canada to destinations currently served by Swoop and Sunwing.
