Riviera Nayarit is making moves to welcome travellers in 2021. The destination closed out 2020 with several new property openings, from the 324-suite Conrad Punta de Mita (the first Conrad resort in Mexico) to the 104-villa One&Only Mandarina. This year, Nayarit is expected to open a Dreams and Secrets property in Punta de Mita and the first all-inclusive Delta by Marriott resort, reflagging the Grand Matlali Hills Resort & Spa. Several properties offer extended stays, which have become popular during the pandemic as many travellers want to limit the amount of time in transit.
