On Monday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed law SB-2006 that bans COVID-19 vaccine passports in the state, among other things. The ban prohibits businesses, schools, and government agencies from requiring people to show documentation certifying COVID-19 vaccinations or post-infection recovery before gaining entry, and takes place 01JUL. He said that he is supportive of getting cruise lines up and running, but that they should not require personal health information. Meanwhile, the CDC announced last week it would allow cruise ships to restart sailings sooner if they have at least 95% vaccinated cruise passengers.
