From Grandma's Cabin to Yoga-Canoe Trips: Indigenous Tour Operators in the Yukon Respond to Demand

The demand for Indigenous tourism in the Yukon region is growing, with existing operators expanding and new businesses opening up in response, reports CBC News.

Josie's Old Crow Adventures, run by Paul and Bree Josie, offers all-inclusive multi-day packages and is the only company of its kind in the small community of Old Crow. The Yukon First Nations Culture and Tourism Association is encouraging Indigenous Yukoners to develop their businesses in the tourism sector, with 15 to 20 companies already operating.
