From One Icon to the Next: Royal Caribbean Reveals Name of Next Icon Class Ship

Royal Caribbean International has announced the name of its next Icon Class ship, "Star of the Seas," set to debut in the summer of 2025, reports Royal Caribbean.

This follows the unveiling of its predecessor, the "Icon of the Seas."

Designed to combine diverse vacation experiences – from beach retreats to theme park adventures – the new ship is currently being built in Turku, Finland. The Icon Class garnered massive attention in OCT 2022, leading to record bookings for the cruise line. Moreover, "Star of the Seas" will be Royal Caribbean's third ship fueled by liquefied natural gas (LNG), showcasing the brand's commitment to environmental sustainability.
