According to the NZ Herald, Amsterdam based Corendon Airlines started a heated debate after introducing a "child-free zone" on its A350 flights to Curacao.
The "Only Adult" zone in the plane's front section will comprise nine XL seats with extra legroom and 93 standard seats, separated from the rest of the aircraft by walls and curtains. The airline believes this creates a serene environment for adult travellers.
The move has been met with backlash, with critics calling it "disgusting" and lamenting society's decreasing tolerance for children. Supporters argue it ensures a peaceful travel experience.
