Haligonians Cheer Return of Icelandair to Halifax in May 2024

Icelandair will revive its route to Halifax, Nova Scotia, in MAY 2024, reports Halifax Stanfield.

The seasonal non-stop flights will run three times a week from Halifax Stanfield International Airport to Reykjavík via Keflavik International Airport. The service offers connections to the UK, Scandinavia, and Continental Europe.

This development is welcomed by both travellers and the Nova Scotia tourism economy, creating new opportunities for international visitors and trade. Icelandair's CEO expressed enthusiasm about offering Nova Scotians a gateway to Iceland and beyond, emphasizing the ease of travel and connections.
