Hoa Van Ngo Charged With Operating Itravel Hop Without a License

Hoa Van Ngo, also known as Kevin Ngo, operating as Itravel Hop, has been charged by The Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) for operating as a travel agent without proper registration.

Allegedly, Ngo sold travel services without TICO's approval, resulting in a client being stranded abroad without return airfare. Ngo is set to appear in court on 03OCT, 2023.

Violations of the Travel Industry Act 2002 can lead to individuals facing fines of up to USD $50,000 or imprisonment of up to two years. Corporations can be fined up to USD $250,000.
