According to TravelWeekly, Explora Journeys, a new luxury cruise line, aims to provide a land-like experience at sea to attract younger, discerning travellers.
The company, which recently launched its first of six ships, has hired 60% of its hotel crew from land-based hotels and resorts and studied customers from Aman, Belmond and Cheval Blanc to gain insight into what its target market wants.
The ships are filled with iconic brands such as Illy coffee and Dyson hair dryers.The line also offers a mix of bars, restaurants, lounges, enrichment programs and entertainment experiences to give guests more choice.
