Hyatt Q4: Group Sales Recovering Faster than Business Travel

During an earnings call about its Q4 performance, Hyatt Hotels saw volumes continuing to improve “quarter by quarter” but remain nearly 20 per cent off pre-pandemic levels.

But pricing has been “strong”, with Leisure and Group rates up 19 and 15 per cent respectively compared to the same quarter pre-pandemic in 2019, reports Business Travel News Europe.

Overall group revenue in Q4 2022 was over 1 per cent higher than in the same quarter in 2019, but business travel remained slumped: 18 per cent lower than pre-pandemic levels.
