Hype to the Contrary, Cruise Line Website Traffic Up - But Still Below Pre-Pandemic Levels

According to digital research intelligence company Similarweb, US-based cruise line website traffic hit a 2021 high in JUN - but that’s still well below pre-pandemic traffic levels. The group also found total traffic to the top five cruise sites combined topped 16.5m during June, with Carnival Cruise Line leading the way. Carnival had 6.37m visits followed by Royal Caribbean (4.14m), Norwegian Cruise Line (2.6m), Princess Cruises (2.1m) and Celebrity Cruises (1.27m). However, compared to JUN 2019, Carnival is still down 18 per cent, Princess 34 per cent, Royal Caribbean 41 per cent, Celebrity 54 per cent and NCL 61 per cent.
