Jamaica has reported its 10th consecutive quarter of positive tourism growth, with nearly 683,000 stopover visitors in the third quarter, a 5.5% increase from the same period in 2022, reports Caribbean Journal.
Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett said the island garnered approximately USD $1 billion in tourism earnings, marking a 7.3% rise from 2022.
Additionally, with Canada's health travel restrictions easing, Jamaican officials aim to attract 500,000 Canadian visitors annually by 2025.
